With a background in marketing and years spent working with indie creators, he’s seen the behind-the-scenes, the burnout, the doubt, the small wins that don’t make it to the feed. That’s the part he cares about most. The messy middle. The in-between.

Through honest reflection and practical strategy, Jacob helps creatives find clarity in the chaos. He writes to remind you (and himself) that momentum doesn’t have to look loud to matter and that building something meaningful is still worth it.

He’s still figuring it out, too. But he’s showing up anyway. That’s the whole point.

JD is a former TV news reporter turned communicator who works under the principle that everyone has a story worth telling.

Throughout his different roles and aspects of his career, JD has always strove to tell the stories behind the stories in everyday life, and is now taking the journey to write with the same principles in fiction. 

His work explores how one's unique struggles, experiences, and surroundings shape who they are, but also their personal drive to embark on their own journey and make the world a better place in their own capacity. Here, JD hopes to challenge readers to think about what keeps them grounded, but also gives them their drive - while he does that he finds the most daunting:
